Access to research articles
Select the My Account tab to update your personal details, manage your research profile and change your password.
Update personal details: Fields marked with an asterisk are required information.
Manage your research profile: This page allows you to set your email notification preferences including the format in which they are delivered to you. The topics and regions selected will also define your homepage profile.
To request email notifications with pdfs attachments or delivery of printed research, contact your Relationship Manager.
Change password: You will be required to supply a password containing alpha numeric values which must be at least 8 characters in length. Each password will expire after 90 days and previous passwords cannot be re-used.
Search
There are various ways in which you can access the content of the research website:
Term searches
Simply type in a search word and the system will display all articles containing this text. The results page will initially display the articles which repeat this word most frequently (Relevance), use the ‘Sorted by’ feature to change this to Date published or Popularity
Left hand navigation menu
From your homepage, use the left hand navigation menu to select a topic. Summaries of the five most recent articles in this category will be displayed, for more articles in these sections simply select ‘view more’.
Research by category
All of our articles have been tagged with relevant terms to help users navigate quickly to their chosen subject. A list of all terms is displayed on the Research by category tab. By selecting one of these terms you will be redirected to a search page containing the results of this selection.
To help further narrow your search results, the left hand navigation will adjust to represent the number of articles also tagged with another term and display this count in brackets.
Each of the search criteria applied will be displayed in the central search definitions field, to remove one of these simply click to ‘Remove item’.
Smart searches
This facility allows the user to save search results in folders on their homepage and will refresh to include every new article published, meeting the same search criteria. When a search has been applied the ‘Save as smart search’ option is displayed, click to open the window. Simply provide a title, select the folder and colour, then save.
Click on the Smart search tab to manage these folders and set up RSS feeds.

RSS Feeds
You can set up RSS feeds to deliver our latest research to your feed reader. You can subscribe to our standard feeds, which cover our main product areas and regions, or you can use the ‘Smart searches’ folders to set up customized feeds.
