Fauzi Ichsan

Senior Economist, Indonesia

Fauzi provides research to clients and represents the Bank’s interests to policy makers, regulators and parliamentarians. He is a member of the Bank’s Indonesia management committee. He writes articles for the local media, and is often quoted in the local and international media.
 
Before joining the Bank in 2001, Fauzi was Senior Economic Adviser to the British Ambassador in Jakarta. Previously, he was head of fixed income sales at Citibank (Jakarta), and a bond trader at Citibank (Singapore). Fauzi has a Bachelor's from the London School of Economics and a Master's from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
